Once in a blue moon, when we have an entire Sunday off, we love to go hiking with our pooch Pippa. Its great in the fall, to take the time to get out of downtown San Diego, and out in the open.

We made the mistake of giving pippa the okay to get in the pond…

When you are done hiking and apple picking, its great to get a glass or wine, or who are we kidding, a bottle at Volcan Winery. We enjoyed live music and got really jealous over the people who thought ahead to bring picnics. Note to self. Pack yourself a cheese board.
